And finally, a thought from one of the newcomers. Kim was very kind to me when he found out that I liked blues music. While he never counseled me on the
program, he did point me to the King Biscuit Blues Festival; one of the good things that happened to me early in recovery and made a significant, positive difference in my progress. It seems silly now, but standing on THE crossroads that Robert Johnson sang
about made a lot of things clear to me. Kim told me it would feel like the loneliest place on Earth. When I stood there I understood the grief that Robert Johnson felt after having his wife die in childbirth one year after their marriage. And suddenly I felt like I'm not the only one who suffers. Thanks Bonz.
